Groovy Prog Funk Robot Disco Kate Bush anyone? I am going to get a reputation for all these prog boots, I am actually a punk at heart but I love Alan Parson Project's I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You - a sort of angry rock disco jam that's so funky. Check those ride cymbals!
It happens to be in the same key as Running Up That Hill, and I tried it for a laugh, perfect match (well as perfect as anything is, with Kate's jazzy approach to timing and dissonance)….I wasn't planning another Running mashup after the last two but it just happened. I was supposed to be sorting out a podcast…
Oh and did no-one ever mention that one of the famous pop songs of all time, Kate Bush comes in half a bar early (or late) on the last chorus? Check it, she's out of time (OOT) or out of phrase (OOP). I had that issue with my Ghost vs Kate Bush as well!
Running OOP that Hill more like!

Or titivate the algorithmic robots. Maybe they'll spot one of their own in the artificial intelligence Asimov inspired Alan Parsons Project track (the album is called I Robot, he would have HATED that I used a 2001 reference in the artwork, him and Arthur C Clarke were not exactly friends), or maybe people know this song from GTAV…
Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill
Alan Parsons Project - I Wouldn't Want To Be LIke You (Rough backing instrumental and original)
Nice! As a lover of both tracks, I can only enjoy this very interesting combination! Regarding the OOT, off-key and otherwise performances, I for one have no qualms fixing them for my mashups when they happen, especially since they can stick out like a sore thumb when placed over a different sound setting.
Great mashup, and you managed to make one completetely different from the 500 RUTH mashups everyone made last year. Also this could well have happened, as Alan Parsons had worked with Pink Floyd and Kate Bush was discovered by David Gilmour, so with a few ifs ...
