🔥 FROM THE ALBUM "SHOCK WAV" BY TITUS JONES
My fourth mashup album, released June 27, 2025.
A digital love letter to pop, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music from the 90s and early 2000s.
🎶 IT MIGHT SEEM LIKE A CRUSH
- Garbage – #1 Crush
- Britney Spears – Oops!... I Did It Again
- Kylie Minogue – Can't Get You Out of My Head
- Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg – The Next Episode
While I was working on SHOCK WAV, a magical thing happened: we finally got the stems for Oops!... I Did It Again. I've been waiting 20 years for that to happen, so it was very exciting to finally have some crystal clear, studio quality vocals for that song. It took me a while to find the perfect match for a genre-flipped Oops mashup, but I think I found it in Garbage's #1 Crush. I absolutely loved the "crush" lyrical connection, and decided to take it even further by including Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out of My Head, which is slowed down and distorted to sound much more sinister and stalkerish. (There's even some hidden Titus Jones whisper backing vocals buried in the mix!) This is absolutely one of my favorite tracks from the album hands down.
