🔥 FROM THE ALBUM "SHOCK WAV" BY TITUS JONES
My fourth mashup album, released June 27, 2025.
A digital love letter to pop, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music from the 90s and early 2000s.
🎶 GOOD SKIN
- Charli XCX – Good Ones
- Hole – Celebrity Skin
- Taylor Swift – Wildest Dreams
- Gwen Stefani – What You Waiting For?
I've always loved Celebrity Skin by Hole, and therefore always wanted to mash it up. When I started working on this album, I found an unlikely pairing with Charli XCX’s Good Ones. I absolutely love the instrumental production on that track, and really all of CRASH as well! I threw in a little Taylor and a little Gwen, and it all just fell into place. I personally love the lyrical connections between Taylor and Courtney, referring to dresses (standing in a nice dress / it's too early for that dress). Here lately, I've really been enjoying finding fun little unexpected lyrical connections between the source songs in my mashups!
