In 2010, Adam WarRock released his album "The War for Infinity", and one of the bonuses in the limited deluxe edition was a mashup-style dj mix that used a lot of his a cappelas in a new context. The mix, called "It was Like That When We Got Here", was heavily influenced by djdq's "Where the Sidewalk Ends, Vol. 1" and Ruckus Roboticus' "The Record Playa", which are a bit like Girl Talk if there was more of an emphasis on a broad musical palette instead of club bangers.
Along with that mix came an album of sections of the mix cut up and presented as standalone mashups.
This one uses Machine Drum's "If Yu Know Your Cockie Bruck Dung" and Roni Size and Cypress Hill's "Child of the Wild West".
