I stumbled on this Demi Lovato song and became OBSESSED. This only came out a week ago and its a total stylistic shift away from her usual generic pop -- a total early '00s pop/punk throwback sound that I can't get enough of. I really wanted to mash her up with blink-182 or Sum 41 or something like that, but that was just too easy, and too similar to the original song. So I started looking for a backing more similar to her former electronic sound, and came up with something even better -- the indie-pop of CHVRCHES circa 2013.
