When the new Arcade Fire album, WE, dropped in early May, I was OBSESSED, listening to it non-stop for an entire week. So when this challenge was announced, I just knew I had to mash up my current Canadian faves. Somehow, Harry Styles' unavoidable #1 single, "As It Was," ended up being a perfect match for the second half of "WE"'s epic two-part first single, "Lightning." Bonus points for both songs being "fresh." But what about the first half? How about a 2014 track from Harry's previous band, One Direction? Not exactly "fresh," but more bonus points for the "lightning" lyric matching the Arcade Fire backing.
