Gorillaz recent single "New Gold" reminded me of Elli Medeiros french 80s hit "Toi mon Toit" ... it may have been a silly song, but the extended mix provides a much funkier Latin / AfroBeat instrumental for the Gorillaz track ! Add in some Toro Y Moi, whose voice is close enough to Tame Impala and who could be a great Gorillaz collaborator in the future !
