There's a retro electro-swing celebration at the Emerald Palace, and everyone's invited*! The purpose of this mashup is to demonstrate how swing, funk, disco, hip-hop, R&B, soca, alternative rock, and many other genres are interconnected. If people of all ages and backgrounds could party down together, then my work is done.
This mashup is dedicated to one of my closest friends and most loyal listeners, who made that move to a new job about a month ago. He's been good to me ever since I was a lowercase G, and I wish him the best of luck with this new part of his life. He's one of the biggest hip-hop fans I know, and much like the late, great Biggie Smalls, he's no stranger to eating sardines for dinner. (Although he actually ENJOYS them.)
CONTENT WARNING: This mashup contains explicit lyrics.

*Except for a certain evil spider queen who hails from a popular video game and has misappropriated electro-swing music for her own nefarious purposes. If you know, you know.
