One of my all-time favorite video games, "Star Ocean: The Second Story", is getting remade later in 2023. When the game's publisher, Square Enix, released the updated game's new anime-style opening sequence and hard-rockin' theme song on YouTube, the song's chord progression immediately reminded me of Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved". This chart-topper from way back in 2004 has quite a bit of mashup potential, if you ask me.
