When this album by Bob Sinclar came out in 1998 I was captivated by this repetitive loop house sound. The track “Gym Tonic” uses an unauthorized sample of Jane Fonda; the promotional single was also distributed before the album release without the consent of co-author Thomas Bangalter. For these reasons it was withdrawn from the market. The idea to remix this track came to me while I was listening to Giorgio Gaber’s track “Io non Mi Sento Italiano”.
