I didn't think I'd be touching Bed Chem by Sabrina Carpenter, but here we are. Let's just say I went to a few dance parties over the last few weeks and creative juices were flowing.
Back in 1991, Congress (the one that actually got things done) released a dance classic in 40 Miles. Like a lot of dance tracks around that time, they were simple but had some timeless riffs. There's actually a bit of sampling in this song too already, but the samples all blend in perfectly. That string synth feels timeless as well. Listen for it because it goes really well with Sabrina's backings here.
Honestly when this idea came to me and I ran with it, it worked perfectly. I cannot tell you how many times I've listened to this mashup after making it, which hopefully means a hit, but we'll see.
